TS Resins Ltd traces its history to 1929, when Dr Norman de Bruyne began developing synthetic resins that were later used in military aircraft, the Royal Coronation coach and the first commercial jet airliner. Production moved to its current site, Alyn Works in Mold, North Wales, in 1995 under Dynochem and later Dynea ownership, before the site was acquired by the Tennants group in 2013 and renamed TS Resins Ltd.
Today TS Resins manufactures over 60,000 tonnes of specialist chemicals a year, spanning slow-release nitrogen fertilisers, formaldehyde concentrates and urea blends, wood adhesives for timber, panel and laminating applications made in partnership with Dynea, and chemical toll manufacturing for third-party customers. The company holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification and is a member of the British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association.
