Lankem Ltd

Lankem Ltd is a UK manufacturer of speciality surfactants, founded in 1999 and based at Charles Street, Dukinfield, Cheshire. The company produces anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants for industrial markets including coatings, emulsion polymerisation, agrochemicals, metalworking, oilfield services and household and industrial cleaning, supported by an on-site laboratory and production facility.

In recent years Lankem has focused development work on bio-based chemistry, launching the BioLoop range of surfactants derived from soybean, sunflower and rapeseed oils as alternatives to synthetic nonionics. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification, is a member of the Responsible Care programme, and sells internationally through a US sales office, Lankem Inc, and a European sales office in Ireland.
